Senior Test Automation Engineer with TOSCA Description
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with Tosca to join our team in Poland, where you will work with great people, who are not only dedicated to their job but also to mentoring their colleagues and to growing their professional and personal skills.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable, reusable test automation solutions and frameworks to simplify testing processes. Collaborating closely with development teams, you’ll ensure timely delivery of high-quality business functionality that meets acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will lead test planning, execution, and reporting while guiding the testing team to meet project deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities
- Leverage your strong testing skills to guide and support project teams
- Review and approve project team members’ work, including scripts, expected results, test outcomes, and defect descriptions, ensuring adherence to best practices and project schedules
- Create, enhance, debug, and execute test cases
- Organize and monitor the defect management process
- Develop efficient solutions for testing web applications, services/APIs, and databases
- Actively participate in team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specification creation, and technical reviews in an Agile environment
- Contribute to requirements and architecture/design reviews, emphasizing test automation and performance strategies while ensuring best practices are followed
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of CI/CD processes and continuous testing methodologies
- Perform functional, system, and regression testing activities
- Collect quality assurance data and metrics to derive insights and recommendations
- Estimate testing efforts and conduct risk analyses to ensure quality delivery
- Embrace Agile principles in all activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of software testing experience in all phases of testing including test planning, test execution and test closure
- Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices
- 3+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester
- 3+ years of experience creating, maintaining, and executing automation tests utilizing Tosca
- 2+ Years of experience in Agile processes (Scrum preferred)
- Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks preferred
- Experience using SQL to query databases required
- Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git
- Experience with test data management techniques
- Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
