Director, Delivery Management Description

We are searching for a skilled Director of Delivery Management to enhance and lead our service delivery processes across various organizational segments.

The perfect candidate will oversee the execution of projects and programs, maintain project governance, and establish strong relationships with stakeholders to drive business goals. This role requires a proactive approach to managing end-to-end delivery frameworks, adopting innovative technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Direct programs, projects, and organizational segments’ management
  • Preserve project governance and ensure engagement with senior management is consistent
  • Continuously inform stakeholders on project development and milestones, ensuring alignment on key priorities
  • Champion the implementation of best practices in service delivery
  • Drive the integration of emerging industry trends
  • Establish and preserve strategic relationships with high-level customers
  • Design tailored service delivery frameworks to align with client demands
  • Distribute resources to efficiently maintain and monitor service delivery systems
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within service delivery operations
  • Formulate and enforce risk management strategies to diminish disruptions
  • Develop and implement training programs to boost team skills and knowledge
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to client’s standards and regulatory compliance
  • Lead the adoption of innovative technologies to improve service delivery
  • Ensure coherent and clear communication across the organization
  • Consistently reassess and refine service delivery metrics and performance indicators to reach business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum 12-year background in IT, including at least 9 years in service delivery or project/program management
  • Capability to manage large teams or notable projects
  • Proficient in managing complex and urgent situations efficiently
  • Strong record in developing visionary strategies and cohesive delivery approaches
  • Comprehensive experience in creating, advocating, and implementing advanced delivery concepts
  • Skilled in managing result-oriented service delivery frameworks
  • In-depth familiarity with service delivery processes, practices, and strategies
  • Proven capability to conceive and implement robust service delivery frameworks from scratch
  • Effective in mentoring and leading teams to achieve positive results
  • Experience spans managing a delivery organization’s complete spectrum, including acquisition, development, and quality improvement
  • Expertise in handling service lifecycle issues, conflicts, and competing demands
  • Trusted by top management to maintain client relationships and foster collaborative partnerships
  • Fluent in English with C1 level proficiency or higher
