Senior ETL Informatica Tableau Engineer Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, well-rounded Senior ETL Informatica Tableau Engineer to join our talented team. This role involves the design, build, and testing, related components. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for technology and a keen ability to solve complex data integration challenges. This role requires an adeptness in navigating distributed applications and a drive to stay abreast of technological advancements.

Responsibilities
- Leverage open source frameworks and third-party libraries to manage database schema changes across environments
- Design data models and develop efficient reports using BI tools
- Automate and streamline processes for managing database changes
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance
- Work with support teams to identify data discrepancies and conduct necessary data cleanups
- Enhance and support existing applications catering to both consumers and operations staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in ETL tools and principles, especially Informatica, and familiarity with Kafka and AWS Glue
- Competency in BI and reporting tools, notably Tableau
- Background in database design, implementation, and analysis including relational and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB
- Skills in data warehouse and data modeling techniques, including Star and Dimensional Modeling
- Understanding of database concurrency, consistency, tuning, and query optimization
- Experience in PL/SQL, Oracle XML development, and Oracle 11g
- Familiarity with change management processes, preferably using tools like Liquibase
