Senior SAP EWM Consultant Description
The SAP EWM-MFS (Extended Warehouse Management - Material Flow System) Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced warehouse solutions to optimize material flows using the SAP EWM platform. With expertise in the SAP EWM module, particularly in MFS integration, this consultant will ensure seamless automation and connectivity between warehouse systems and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct code reviews and develop features based on best software development practices, ensuring clean code and clean design
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs
- Write technical and user documentation
- Cooperate with the team, track its performance and needs
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on technical topics, provide required metrics to management
- Participate in the setup, improvement and implementation of development processes
- Provide design and architectural decisions
Requirements
- Extensive experience with SAP EWM, particularly in configuring and implementing the Material Flow System (MFS)
- Strong understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP
- Proven capability in working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other warehouse automation technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively handle complex warehouse automation challenges
- Strong communication and project management skills, capable of leading teams and managing stakeholders across various functions
- Ability to create detailed documentation and conduct user training sessions
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- SAP Certification in EWM with a specialization in MFS
- Experience with programming languages used in automation such as Structured Control Language (SCL) or similar
- Prior experience in logistics or manufacturing industries with extensive use of automated warehouse systems
