Chief Automation Tester in JavaScript Remote

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic direction for QA and automated testing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Create and oversee the implementation of advanced testing strategies, frameworks, and tools tailored to large-scale, multi-product environments
• Design and approve highly robust, scalable automated test scripts using cutting-edge technologies within the designated test automation suite
• Critically evaluate testing solutions for application multi-tenant capabilities and ensure enterprise-level scalability
• Develop and maintain key performance metrics to measure testing effectiveness and efficiency, reporting to executive stakeholders
• Document and prioritize defects in alignment with project timelines, ensuring a collaborative resolution process across teams
• Provide strategic mentorship and leadership to QA Leads and team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring skill development
• Collaborate closely with senior developers, architects, product stakeholders, and external client leadership to uphold and expand software quality benchmarks
• Continuously enhance QA processes, frameworks, and tools to ensure long-term viability, operational efficiency, and alignment with industry standards
• Champion the integration of CI/CD pipelines with modern automation tools, enabling seamless delivery of high-quality software products
• Lead initiatives to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-gen testing tools, such as AI-enabled technologies, to enhance QA capabilities
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in testing technologies and methodologies, proactively implementing relevant innovations to maintain competitive advantages

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in Automated Testing
• 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Advanced familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and TestComplete, with expert knowledge of JUnit or TestNG
• Deep understanding of testing principles, including black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing in complex system environments
• Advanced expertise in MS SQL Server and T-SQL, including the ability to write, optimize, and execute complex queries for data-intensive validation
• Extensive experience performing API testing, troubleshooting, and validation using modern tools and methodologies
• Expert-level understanding of Agile/Scrum project environments, with demonstrable success leading QA processes within iterative development frameworks
• Proficiency in guiding quality assurance initiatives using bug-tracking systems like Jira, ensuring streamlined workflows and prioritization
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills, with a proven track record managing high-pressure, enterprise-level tasks effectively
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) at a C1 level or higher

Nice to have

• Extensive experience in creating complex CSK solutions for QA environments
• Comprehensive understanding of AWS secrets management practices, including handling key rotation strategies
• Expertise in designing and managing cloud testing environments with an emphasis on Amazon Web Services architecture
• Proven ability to manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring full integration with automation and scalability solutions
• Qualifications or prior experience with frameworks like .NET Core, particularly in testing enterprise-level applications
• Demonstrated experience leading QA functions for multi-product, multi-client environments, with a focus on aligning quality goals with overarching business strategies
