Lead .NET Developer Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead .NET Developer to join a newly formed product-focused development team (POD).

You will work closely with a client-side team that includes a Product Owner and Technical Lead to design, create, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable features using a versatile tech stack, including .NET Core, C#, Vue.js, ReactJS, Python, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and DocumentDB. This role also involves ensuring optimal application performance within the AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in full-stack development, a passion for delivering reliable solutions, and the ability to excel in a collaborative Agile setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate Customer Specific Keys (CSK) functionality across various applications
  • Utilize AWS services such as AWS Secrets Manager for secure key management and automated key rotation
  • Ensure secure storage, access, and encryption of sensitive client data across systems
  • Maintain compliance and enforce security protocols throughout all processes
  • Review and improve existing applications to support CSK solutions
  • Refactor and enhance codebases to meet scalability and performance needs
  • Optimize data models and reduce database query complexity to boost efficiency
  • Address technical challenges and ensure smooth integration and performance within the AWS environment
  • Design and implement robust logging and traceability processes using appropriate tools and frameworks
  • Apply microservices architecture principles and utilize AI-based tools for code optimization as needed
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are consistently applied throughout the migration process
  • Collaborate with client-side teams to align on goals and deliver successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in .NET and .NET Core development
  • At least one year of leadership experience managing teams and projects
  • Strong expertise in back-end development, with a focus on creating modular, maintainable, and testable codebases
  • Extensive experience working with relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB), including schema design, query optimization, and configuration management
  • Proven ability to design and implement CSK solutions with secure key storage, retrieval, and rotation policies
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, Fargate, and SQS
  • Expertise in implementing logging, observability, and traceability in .NET applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
  • Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher, both spoken and written

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing CSK solutions in previous roles
  • Knowledge of AWS Secrets Manager, key rotation processes, and associated security practices
  • Experience working directly with client-side teams
  • Familiarity with product ecosystems involving multiple applications built with diverse tech stacks
  • Practical experience with Python development
