Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Monitor and optimize database performance
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data modeling and business intelligence efforts
• Ensure data quality and integrity
• Implement data security and privacy policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers
• Stay updated with emerging data technologies and trends
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Proven experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data access patterns
• Experience with software engineering of data services and data access layers
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and streaming data
• Familiarity with full-lifecycle data management
• Proficiency in Schema Registry and Data contracts
• Experience with data integration
• Understanding of data governance and data lineage
• Proficiency in NoSQL (Cosmo, Casandra), SQL, and .Net
• Experience with GraphDB (neo4j)
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Knowledge of Kafka
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Knowledge of Schema registry (data contracts)
