Senior Automation Testing Engineer in Python Description
We are in search of a Senior Automation Testing Engineer in Python. Your primary role will involve leveraging Python frameworks to develop and optimize automated testing solutions, managing and prioritizing QE team activities, and providing regular status updates and insights to the Lead and Delivery Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automation testing professional who is adept at conducting comprehensive reviews of user stories, designing detailed test cases and scenarios, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities
- Leverage Python frameworks to develop and optimize automated testing solutions
- Manage and prioritize QE team activities to ensure timely project delivery
- Provide regular status updates and insights to the Lead and Delivery Manager
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of user stories, focusing on business processes and end-to-end testing
- Design, implement, and document detailed test cases and scenarios
- Ensure compliance with established testing standards and best practices
- Mentor junior team members and review their test cases, providing constructive feedback
- Publish and maintain test cases in the central test repository for team access
- Execute tests, log defects, and facilitate resolution efforts
- Conduct demonstrations at the end of sprints to showcase testing results and improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Python development and test automation
- Proficiency with the Robot Framework and other relevant automation tools
- Strong knowledge of the health insurance domain and its associated processes
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based testing environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Experience in mentoring and guiding less experienced team members is a plus
- B2+ English level proficiency
