Lead Functional Consultant Description

We are seeking a talented Lead Functional Consultant to join our EPAM team working on Dynamics 365 F&SCM implementation project.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in every aspect of the solution implementation from analyzing the customer’s business requirements to configuring the Microsoft Dynamics application to meet the customer’s needs, particularly in D365 SCM (production planning & execution)
  • Collaborates with Project Manager, other internal and external team throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current business processes
  • Provides in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Manufacturing and evaluates the customer’s business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality
  • Demonstrates experience in use of the prescribed Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology; understands the key activities and deliverables for the client engagement and internal projects
  • Documents the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected
  • Responsible for configuring and customizing the Microsoft Dynamics application to achieve the customer’s business requirements
  • If modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application, the Consultant facilitates the customer’s decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process
  • Responsible for conducting acceptance testing and training customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics application
  • Understands challenges and risks when implementing vertical applications
  • Works for projects in Americas time zone

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consulting experience in Dynamics 365 Manufacturing related modules with a focus on business modeling and software implementation (Master planning and Planning Optimization, Bill of Material (BOM) and Formula management, Production Operations Resources and Route management, Experience with Production module configuration from scratch, Production batch execution)
  • Familiar and experienced in Core Production related functionality, Application technology stack, Implementation Methodology
  • High degree of insight and analytical skill
  • Team-oriented; willing to align work with the team’s priorities and goals
  • Able to influence, negotiate, and build consensus
  • Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
  • B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Successful completion of applicable product certification exams
