Senior .NET Developer Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine web applications and services utilizing .NET technologies
• Work with diverse teams to establish, design, and deliver new features
• Update legacy systems and address production support inquiries
• Resolve database issues and apply patches
• Create new IIS and database environment components
• Quickly grasp legacy systems and display robust troubleshooting abilities
• Maintain adherence to coding standards and Agile engineering practices, including DoR and DoD
• Perform peer reviews and refactoring as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in software development
• Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proficient in C# via .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC
• Skilled in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experienced with EntityFramework and Unity Container or other IoC containers
• Knowledgeable in SOLID design principles
• Proficient with WebAPI, including RESTful and SOAP services
• Strong understanding of MS SQL
• Demonstrated expertise in website and web service development
• Excellent communication skills with experience in a collaborative Agile environment
• Fluent in spoken English

Nice to have

• Background in developing products in Azure Cloud
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, preferably with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Angular or KnockoutJS
• Understanding of micro frontend architecture
• Familiarity with .NET WCF and SoapUI
• Background in cloud design patterns
