Senior Site Reliability Engineer Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of our large Data Platform system. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the system.

Responsibilities
- Set up and configure monitoring tools such as Datadog
- Manage system availability, reliability, and capacity planning
- Track usage of applications and assess their impact on the production system
- Scale the environment as needed
- Create run books and other system troubleshooting documentation
- Handle release and deployment of applications and components
- Manage incident and change processes
- Administer and deploy development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Develop infrastructure scripting solutions using PowerShell or Python
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
- Proficiency in Datadog, Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Python
- Knowledge of system monitoring and configuration tools
- Proven track record in L3 production environment for a large Data Platform system
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with incident and change management processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong people skills and emotional intelligence
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
- Experience with Kubernetes, script writing, Terraform
