Cloud Security Architect II Remote

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in planning, researching, and designing security controls for IT systems and data aligned with business goals
• Develop, review, and approve requirements for cloud-based and other IT solutions and services
• Define security protocols by understanding business objectives and requirements
• Assess system security measures and implement necessary enhancements
• Engage in governance processes for security reviews
• Formulate control objectives and the corresponding implementation and test steps
• Conduct technical risk assessments to identify operational, financial, and reputational risks
• Keep abreast of emerging security practices and standards, and engage in educational and professional activities

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud security assessment, security architecture, and governance
• At least 2 years as a Software Architect
• In-depth knowledge of IT risks, cybersecurity, computer operating systems, and cloud computing environments
• Proficiency in implementing security solutions and conducting security and risk assessments
• Advanced knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and security
• Familiarity with Computer Security Frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27000, ITL, etc
• Knowledge of AI security best practices
• Desired certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM
• Proficient command of the English language for both verbal and written communication

Nice to have

• Strong skills in project planning and estimation
• Experience in ITSM service design and service delivery
