We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our remote team.
As a Lead Java Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems, and driving innovation in cloud-based technology. You will lead a team of talented engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Serbia.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical strategies
- Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing legacy systems
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical leadership
- Drive improvements in software development processes and practices
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and performance
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends
- Identify and address technical debt and system deficiencies
- Support the continuous improvement of development tools and practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a solid understanding of Java Core
- 1+ years experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Proficiency in Angular
- Proven expertise in building and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong proficiency in Spring framework for building robust and scalable applications
- Experience in working with legacy code to modernize and enhance existing systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and SDLC methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English for clear and concise communication
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
