Associate Project Manager Description

We are seeking a skilled Associate Project Manager to oversee the deployment of a solution by a third-party vendor.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing control over project execution and ensuring alignment with project goals.

The role requires frequent travel to work closely with direct stakeholders and monitor the deployment's progress, risks, and challenges.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of the external solution by the delivery vendor
  • Track progress against the plan
  • Establish a communication plan
  • Manage risks associated with the project
  • Oversee the deliverables and acceptance process
  • Report status to all levels of customer stakeholders
  • Assist in validating and establishing requirements vs solution capabilities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes

Requirements

  • Project Management experience for at least 5 years on IT projects, ideally in the industrial domain
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management standards (PMI or PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Experience in managing the delivery of solutions from external vendors / contractors
  • Electrical or Mechanical engineer background preferred, ideally with some work experience in the industrial domain
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Greek language proficiency
  • English language proficiency with a minimum of B2+
  • Assertiveness
  • Empathy & Influence

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
