Senior Java Developer Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in enhancing and evolving our core systems, including Telephony and IVR, to serve customer needs better. You will be a crucial player in a dynamic team, driving the development of scalable solutions and ensuring high code and system reliability standards.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an engineering team to enhance, operate, and maintain our Telephony, IVR, and other internal tools
- Work closely with product and design teams to analyze requirements, devise solutions, and draft roadmaps, managing projects from inception to deployment
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Lead sprint planning sessions and daily stand-ups to ensure team meets delivery commitments and continuously improve processes
- Conduct Quality Inspections, Walkthroughs, Design Reviews, Code Reviews, and Security Reviews to uphold standards
Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of its ecosystem and tools
- Experienced with Amazon Web Services, leveraging various AWS services for optimized application performance
- Skilled in React.js for building user interfaces
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful services and APIs
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Cucumber for API testing and development
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes; proficient in version control with Git and CI/CD with Jenkins
- Proficient in using Kibana and Datadog for monitoring and logging purposes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and other company functions
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
