PHP Team Lead with WordPress Kazakhstan or Remote

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a team of developers, guiding them through project phases and ensuring a collaborative and productive environment
• Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables, maintaining a clear communication line with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead the back-end and front-end development of high-traffic WordPress websites, including custom module and plugin development
• Ensure that all implemented solutions meet or design and functionality requirements through rigorous testing and debugging procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading development teams with a strong grasp of project management fundamentals
• Solid background in PHP, WordPress, and MySQL in developing complex web applications
• Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, and associated development/deployment tools (e.g., Gulp, Grunt)
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with familiarity with tools like Chrome Dev Tools
• Expert knowledge in crafting semantic HTML and CSS for responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency in WordPress plugin installation, configuration, and maintenance
• A keen eye for identifying web development issues and implementing effective solutions
• Demonstrated ability to foster meaningful relationships across functional teams
