Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for feed enrichment using Node.js and TypeScript
- Develop robust, performant APIs and microservices to support ad-serving platforms
- Implement and manage backend infrastructure components on Amazon Web Services
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or CDK
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests ensuring reliable, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Identify performance bottlenecks, implement optimizations, and ensure backend systems remain stable under high traffic
- Work closely with product managers, product analysts, data engineers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide timely support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting backend services in production environments
Requirements
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for building efficient, maintainable backend services and APIs
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using Amazon Web Services
- Demonstrable expertise in RESTful API design and implementing scalable microservices
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment strategies
- Ability to diagnose and improve application performance and scalability issues
- Proven experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies within self-organized, cross-functional teams
- English proficiency at a professional level
Nice to have
- Experience developing backend components using Python
- Familiarity with creating and managing Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to Docker and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or Amazon Elastic Container Service
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis
