Senior DevOps Engineer Krakow, Poland or Remote

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab to automate software deployment
• Implement and support cloud applications using Azure PaaS and Azure DevOps, ensuring security with Azure Vault
• Leverage container orchestration through Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) when applicable
• Design data processing solutions using technologies like Spark, Databricks, or Cloudera platforms focusing on big data frameworks
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to develop a cohesive Solution Architecture that aligns with business requirements
• Apply problem-solving skills to address challenges systematically and communicate effectively with multiple management levels
• Build and maintain strong internal client relationships, ensuring collaborative teamwork and stakeholder satisfaction

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar role
• Highly experienced in IaC using Terraform
• Background in Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and powershell scripting
• Have good experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work with Technical Architect / Solution Architect to produce and enhance an overall Solution Architecture that describes the end-to-end flow
• Past experience of customer data and personalization
• Strong problem solving skills; ability to tackle new problems in a structured way
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills across different management levels and seniority
• Collaborative, with good communication skills - English at a B2+ level
