Lead Java Developer Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team, developing software systems essential for planning and running Data Centers.
In this role, you'll engage in direct daily communication with clients, contribute hands-on as a Software Engineer, and guide a team to build a scalable, high-performance platform used by our external customers to create innovative applications and solutions. Responsibilities
- Resolve team member obstacles and blockers for 2-3 developers
- Deliver hands-on contributions to the project as a Software Engineer
- Engage in regular calls with client stakeholders in the US to discuss pending items
- Collaborate with world-class engineers, architects, and product managers
- Utilize new technologies from the technology stack of a top-tier tech company
- Propose design and architecture for parts delivered by your team
- Focus on development activities in a supportive environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in developing and integrating software through full system life-cycles
- Proficiency in Java with over 5 years of hands-on experience
- Capability to lead a team with 1+ years of experience
- Background in direct client communication including performance reports and team load planning
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and independently breakdown problems
- Self-management and strong prioritization skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Skills in Guice and Protocol Buffers
- Understanding of Guava
