We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in the payment domain to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will engage with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and improve payment processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Engage deeply in technical expertise on card payment processes including authorization, clearing, and settlement
  • Collaborate with customers, financial institutions, merchants, and internal engineering teams
  • Understand technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog considering future goals
  • Define and articulate feature hypotheses and assess outcomes
  • Decompose prioritized features into user stories for functional initiatives
  • Estimate initial sizing and efforts for features
  • Prepare comprehensive updates for various communication needs
  • Facilitate feature and story walkthroughs with teams
  • Oversee the acceptance criteria and review test cases for quality assurance
  • Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Demonstration sessions
  • Validate product demonstrations and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience required
  • Proficiency in SQL and APIs related to payment channels
  • Competency in CI/CD processes
  • Knowledge of Swift, Swift MX, Swift MT
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate customer needs and solve customer problems
  • Background in interacting with various stakeholders and understanding technical feasibility
  • Skills in maintaining product backlogs and prioritizing effectively
  • Expertise in story definition, sprint planning, and execution of project lifecycles

Nice to have

  • Experience in consumer-facing financial services
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Understanding of global payment regulations
