Senior Golang Engineer Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Golang Engineer with a background in cloud computing and DevOps practices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Kubernetes team on a project utilizing Kubernetes-native technology. Your challenge will involve running and managing batch workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Latvia, whether it's your home or our office in Riga.

Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze client needs thoroughly
- Design and clearly communicate solutions to meet client requirements
- Take ownership of implementation and contribute to open-source projects
- Communicate efficiently with the team using official Kubernetes SIG channels
- Embrace creativity and out-of-the-box thinking as a key to Engineering Excellence
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Go language
- Excellent understanding of Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of Cloud and Container architecture
- Background in Systems engineering (Linux)
- English proficiency level B2 or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Python and ML engineering
- Familiarity with batch scheduling technologies such as ray.io, Spark (or similar)

Salary range €3.4K–€5K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
