Senior Data Reliability Engineer Description
We are in search of a Senior Data Reliability Engineer to join our team and lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using a variety of tools and technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include providing operational support to maintain and troubleshoot existing data pipelines, automating manual data workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve data architecture.

Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to maintain and troubleshoot existing data pipelines, ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime
- Automate manual data workflows using tools like Python, SQL, and CI/CD processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead
- Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using SSIS, SQL
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging practices to ensure data flow reliability and performance using cloud-native tools and custom-built solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve data architecture
- Document all processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides for future reference
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data integration, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and optimization
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and optimization
- Hands-on experience with SSRS and SSIS for report generation and ETL tasks
- Expertise in Python for scripting and automation
- Experience with GCP and AWS cloud platforms, including familiarity with their data services
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools and strategies for data pipelines
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
- Experience with additional ETL tools
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices
