Responsibilities

• Adopt a comprehensive system perspective to evaluate use cases, architect, execute, and sustain interconnected Java-based applications
• Address challenging tasks and resolve intricate problems in Java development
• Investigate and suggest frameworks and architectural/code design patterns suitable for Java applications
• Innovatively test and sustain Java software applications and associated systems
• Engage in design and code evaluations concerning Java initiatives
• Align with Product teams to enhance business requirements for Java-oriented systems
• Cooperate with colleagues across various regions on Java-related projects
• Explore and impart domain-specific and industry knowledge to boost Java engineering methods
• Manage features and resources for integration and communication between Java applications, databases, and platforms
• Promote operational excellence and project quality in Java initiatives through robustness and scalability, testing, monitoring, and alerting
• Present reports on the progress of critical Java projects to senior management
• Actively pursue opportunities to elevate customer experiences using Java solutions
• Mentor engineers in designing software that is maintainable, testable, and observable with Java technologies

Requirements

• 3+ years in Java software development
• Proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot stack
• Background in AWS
• Expertise in CI/CD deployment using Jenkins
• Familiarity with GitHub
• Understanding of software development tools
• Capability to engage collaboratively within and beyond the immediate team
• Ability to integrate disparate Java components to create a cohesive business solution
• Skills in testing, monitoring, and alerting for Java applications
• Advocacy for system resilience and scalability in Java projects
• Analytical and problem-solving proficiency
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
