Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our team. In this role, you will be integral in managing our AWS-based infrastructure and automating operational processes. Your responsibilities will include AWS cloud service management, CI/CD pipeline integration, domain purchasing, SSL certification management, DNS updating, and creating relevant documentation.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain AWS-based CI/CD pipelines, adhering to DevOps principles and methodologies
  • Support AWS infrastructure, focusing on performance optimization, scalability, and security
  • Leverage AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies to automate repeatable tasks
  • Complete requests for domain purchases, SSL certifications, and DNS updates
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and streamline deployment processes within AWS
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient AWS operations and promote a culture of shared responsibility
  • Create and maintain AWS-focused technical documentation aligned with business principles
  • Stay updated on the latest AWS developments and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in DevOps or platform management
  • Strong understanding of platform frameworks using EC2, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies
  • Significant exposure to deployment of tooling for managing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments
  • Experience in building tooling integrations to optimize workflows and drive team performance
  • Background in both Systems and Software engineering
  • Experience in designing, automating, maintaining, and optimizing observability platforms
  • Abreast of industry standards and trends related to telemetry and software pipelines
  • Experience rationalizing and implementing monitoring and observability toolchain
  • Previous experience in public clouds (AWS preferred, but others considered)
  • Fluent English language skills at an Upper-Intermediate level
