Senior Systems Engineer Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and support our internal non-billable projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endpoint configuration management and be capable of temporary assignments on production billable positions for different customers in the Infrastructure Support area.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Serbia.

Responsibilities

  • Support Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (Endpoint Manager) including OS images, applications, packages for automatic installation, baselines, updates, PXE, reporting
  • Support Windows devices using Microsoft Intune (Co-management, Autopilot)
  • Support Apple MacOS devices using Jamf
  • Support Linux devices
  • Planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Azure, GCP, AWS
  • Planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Azure AD, Office 365 services, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Service and connected services
  • Scripting / Automation using PowerShell
  • Writing IT-related work instructions
  • Supporting production systems and applications
  • Resolving incidents and processing changes in a timely manner
  • Availability for business trips

Requirements

  • 3+ years supporting an enterprise-level IT environment
  • Strong experience with endpoint management technologies including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, WSUS, and MS System Center Configuration Manager
  • Proficiency in Jamf Apple Device Management
  • Background in Microsoft Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Computer Architecture
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server roles and features, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 service
  • Experience in public clouds: Azure/Office 365, GCP, AWS
  • Capable of supporting production systems and applications
  • Understanding of ITIL Essentials and best practices
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure design principles
  • Experience in scripting/automation with PowerShell
  • Skills in technical writing
  • Competency in problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and mentoring newcomers
  • Capability to work independently with minimal technical guidance
  • Qualifications in business communication, client relationship management, delivery excellence, driving change and innovation, adaptability, and empathy
  • Proficiency in English (Level B2)

Nice to have

  • Experience in backup (Data Protection Management)
  • Experience in private cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager, hypervisors such as Hyper-V, storages, blades)
  • Familiarity with SQL databases (procedures, triggers, views)
  • Understanding of monitoring/testing architectures and best practices
  • Knowledge of certificate authority
