Security Solution Architect Ukraine or Remote

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of security architecture for projects and products, integrating security requirements, detailed designs, and controls
• Define security requirements with stakeholders and produce detailed security architecture documentation for multiple initiatives
• Educate business and IT teams about security frameworks, processes, standards, and guidelines
• Review IT system and application designs to ensure alignment with security best practices, providing guidance as needed
• Design solutions architecture for applications and technologies that align with business strategies and requirements
• Oversee architecture in collaboration with product, platform, and solution architects across various projects
• Identify system deficiencies and propose innovative solutions for improvement
• Establish principles, guidelines, and standards to align future-state enterprise security architecture
• Direct governance processes to ensure adherence to security policies within solution architecture
• Advance secure development practices and promote a culture of security-by-design within the organization
• Build threat models and collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective security controls
• Offer expert guidance to development and testing teams on addressing coding vulnerabilities across multiple programming languages
• Develop and shape application and product security policies to seamlessly integrate security into product design
• Promote security excellence across teams, customers, and partners

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience within application security in a software-focused organization
• Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, including deep familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and practical use of tools like SAST, DAST, OWASP ZAP, or WhiteHat Sentinel
• Proficiency in technologies for both cloud-based and on-premise products and applications
• Background in collaborating across geographically dispersed global organizations
• Expertise in technologies that support secure data collection, organization, and processing
• Understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and tools within IT services and solution technologies
• Proficiency in Cloud Architecture, cloud data/application security, and hybrid integration patterns
• Familiarity with emerging tools and solutions within the Enterprise Architecture space
• Strong analytical skills to assess solutions and determine optimal approaches using critical reasoning
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Skills in implementing security controls and leveraging methodologies like Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps
• Excellent communication abilities for seamless collaboration across regional and functional boundaries
• Qualifications in cybersecurity to deliver expert recommendations and facilitate transformative change
