Lead Software Engineer - Flutter Description
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer specializing in cross-platform mobile development using Flutter. Being a part of the Shenzhen Delivery team, you will be working on software engineering in Shenzhen, where we provide IT solutions for our clients in diverse industries.
As a mobile professional, you’ll fulfill a lead mobile developer role to rationalize practices of Agile Methodology in the development team, partnering with multiple functional roles/teams to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities
- Create high-quality deliverables and technical documentation
- Understand, pursue and enhance the defined software development process and introduce engineering best practices
- Participate in technical decision-making, design technical solutions and implement functionality by following software development principles
- Plan code reviews, ensure the quality of the team’s code and other deliverables following delivery excellence practices, detect and address software performance issues
- Lead and contribute to software engineering activities, including requirement clarification, estimation and planning, workshops, and solution proposal presentations for customers, etc
- Fulfill a mentor role, explaining software engineering principles, practices, and their benefits, conducting technical interviews and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and development
- Proven experience as a Flutter Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Dart programming language and Flutter framework
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Understanding of mobile app design principles and interface guidelines
- Experienced in designing and implementing reusable and maintainable architecture
- Fulfilled architect or tech lead roles leading a development team
- In-depth understanding of different phases of software development lifecycle and understanding of Agile Scrum processes
- Upper Intermediate level (CEFR B2+) or higher level of spoken and written English
Nice to have
- Experience with native mobile development for iOS or Android
- Familiarity with Swift and Xcode for iOS development, or Java/Kotlin and Android Studio for Android development
- Understanding of platform-specific design patterns and best practices
