Senior Accountant Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling payroll, bookkeeping, and audit-related tasks for certain EPAM subsidiaries in Latin America while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processes for designated EPAM subsidiaries and perform standard payroll accounting and accruals in line with US GAAP
- Analyze and reconcile payroll discrepancies across internal systems
- Investigate complex payroll cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange pertinent information
- Address audit inquiries and participate in meetings with both external and internal auditors
- Handle local audit tasks specifically related to payroll
- Engage in regular activities aimed at process improvement alongside other teams, analyze areas for enhancement, and pilot new improvements
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
Requirements
- High economic education, specifically in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Payroll Accountant, Senior Payroll Specialist, or Auditor, including payroll responsibilities
- At least an intermediate level of English proficiency
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably including SAP
- Background in company acquisitions
- High personal responsibility and meticulous attention to detail
- Competency in managing and processing information from diverse sources
