Responsibilities
- Collaborate with existing DevOps and agile teams to take ownership of, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as a Service using AWS technologies
- Implement infrastructure changes in the environment using Terraform and Cloud Formation scripts
- Create and upkeep reusable Terraform and Cloud Formation modules
- Analyze the performance of systems and processes and implement improvements
- Troubleshoot and monitor infrastructure issues in an AWS cloud-hosted environment
- Explore and adopt new technologies to enhance existing systems
- Determine, assess, deploy, troubleshoot, and contribute to open source tools and technologies utilized
Requirements
- 3+ years in DevOps or similar roles
- Extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Skilled in IaC automation using Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Capable of working efficiently in a team and independently
- Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as AWS ECS or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Ci/CD systems is preferred
- Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration
- Proficient English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, & Redis
- Skilled in shell programming with Bash and knowledgeable in at least one of Perl, Python, Ruby, etc
