Enterprise Architect Description

Our client is one of the largest banks in Greece, providing a wide range of banking and financial services to individuals, businesses, and corporations. EPAM teams are responsible for the digital transformation process and developing mobile and web applications for the current systems.

We are inviting an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing and maintaining effective architecture governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company goals while adhering to regulatory standards.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain alignment of architectural governance frameworks, policies, and procedures with organizational objectives
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize architecture principles and standards
  • Oversee the design and implementation of architecture governance processes to manage risks and compliance
  • Offer support and guidance to project teams on best practices and methodologies in architecture governance
  • Drive execution of selected architecture projects as Solution Architect
  • Assess architectural designs and solutions for compliance with established governance criteria
  • Perform regular architecture reviews and audits to pinpoint gaps and issue areas for improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance architecture governance effectiveness and efficiency
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in architecture governance, facilitating knowledge sharing across the organization
  • Promote cohesive and standardized approaches to architecture governance in collaboration with solution architects and other key stakeholders
  • Manage the coordination of the Architecture Review Board as required, providing necessary approvals and sign-offs
  • Manage Architecture Guild within digital domain
  • Facilitate the transition to the target within Digital platforms and other relevant domains

Requirements

  • Solid background in Enterprise Architecture
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in an architectural role
  • Strong knowledge of architectural styles and patterns
  • Capability to conduct pre-sales activities and Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives
  • Competency in .NET, Angular, and mobile-native technologies
  • Proficiency with cloud services including Azure or AWS and microservices
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English (C1 level) or B2+

Nice to have

  • Experience in Retail Banking or related financial domains
  • Track record of innovative strategies or projects that led to significant improvement
  • Qualifications in advanced architectural methodologies
  • Fluency in Greek
