Responsibilities
- Support the entire data pipeline process from raw data to structured data, ensuring successful execution to BigQuery and Looker dashboards
- Identify and resolve issues with data sources, such as disconnected sources or changes in data structure
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by addressing data-related issues
- Understand and apply the logic behind queries in relation to business cases to ensure valuable data representation on dashboards
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and engineering leadership to support project objectives
- Provide support during business hours for the Bay Area
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills with proficiency in reading, modifying, and creating complex queries
- Good business analysis skills to effectively interpret data quality and summarize information
- Working knowledge of Hitachi Pentaho Data Integrator (Pantheon ETL)
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of GCP including security and access controls
- Passing knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Familiarity with SparkSQL, PySpark, R, Bash
