DESCRIPTION
Join EPAM as a Senior Java Developer.
In this role, you'll design, implement, test, deploy, maintain and document solutions, participate in code review and estimation sessions, and follow software engineering best practices and principles.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain and document solutions
- Implementation of features, writing reusable, maintainable, efficient and unit-tested code
- Participation in code review process
- Participation in estimation sessions
- Communication on the project progress during scrum and status meetings
- Implementation of securing and data protection rules
- Documenting technical decisions and designs
- Follow software engineering best practices and principles
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development with Java (8+ versions), Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc
- 2+ YOE as a technical leader, strong leadership skills
- Strong experience working with microservices, APIs, web services
- Front-end experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Angular
- SQL databases, Comfortable writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures/functions
- Cloud experience working with AWS, AWS lambda, etc
- Experience with the full system implementation life-cycles, SDLC (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)
- Experience with agile methodologies, Scrum
- Fluent English
- Experience in development with Kotlin is a great plus
- IMPORTANT: This position requires to be on-site in Guadalajara or Mexico City office
