Senior JavaScript Engineer (Node.JS) Description
Our customer operates a strong media supply chain. The project is about re-platforming the backend of the existing platform and providing assistance in terms of technology delivery and governance.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Develop User Management API for user, role, and permission management
- Implement Asset Management API for managing assets with role-based access
- Design and build a complex metadata system for Users, Assets, and Collections
- Develop import/ingestion capabilities for Media Assets including storage, registration, metadata generation, and transcoding
- Orchestrate workflows using AWS Step Functions
- Implement a Message Bus using EventBridge, SQS, and SNS for metadata and asset management changes
- Create monitoring and alerting systems using CloudTrail and CloudWatch
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience as a Node.js developer
- Familiarity or willingness to learn AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, Aurora, AWS OpenSearch, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Datadog, S3, Athena, and Kinesis
- Desired: Previous experience in the media or entertainment industry building metadata systems or similar applications
- Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)

- Experience with AWS Aurora and OpenSearch
