Senior / Lead .NET Full-stack Developer Hungary

What You’ll Do

• Participate in product feature implementation, both independently and in cooperation with your team
• Implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient, reusable and performant code
• Liaise with product stakeholders and other teams in the organisation to complete the projects on time and to the highest quality standards
• Participate in peer code reviews, manage criteria applied during code reviews
• Investigate technical issues during the full development lifecycle including specific component in production
• Provide effort estimations for the individual and team assignments
• Coach and mentor less experienced members of the team
• Work with solution architects to define highly detailed specifications for technical solutions
• Help shaping the team's culture and work rhythm, including the development of best practices within the team

What You Have

• Expert knowledge of and at least 6 years of experience in .NET development using C#
• Experience with at least one major area in .NET (e.g., ASP.NET, WPF)
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript development
• Experience developing scalable microservices architectures
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, clean code, programming principles, and design patterns
• Good understanding of the SDLC processes and tools (e.g., code reviews, distributed version control, testing)
• Good knowledge of NGRX and State Management
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and related tools (e.g., TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins)
• Experience working in an agile development environment (like Scrum or Kanban, with tools like JIRA or Trello)
• Experience with cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Good English communication skills (B2+ overall language level)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline

Nice to have

• Experience developing and deploying serverless and non serverless applications to AWS (serverless functions, queuing technologies, cloud storage, databases, cache, scalable web applications)
• Exposure to distributed caching frameworks (e.g Redis, Memcached) and messaging frameworks (e.g. Kinesis, RabbitMQ)
• Experience creating responsive layouts
• Demonstrated experience with CSS Pre-processors such as SCSS, SASS, LESS
• Good knowledge of the latest ECMAScript standards and features
• Experience working with relational (SQL Server, Postgres etc) and NoSQL (Redis, Dynamo, etc) databases
• Experience writing automated unit and end-to-end tests
• Experience with TDD and/or BDD
• Experience with ELK Stack
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral - with experience in presenting to engineering and product groups
• Ability to lead systems analysis with application design individually and with an architecture team to deliver detailed application specifications
• A passionate software developer with a strong interest in new and emerging technologies and the ability to drive technical change
• The ability to approach complex problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation, and the drive to get stuck into solving them until the solution can be delivered to the customer
• Experience in lean methodologies and processes (Kanban) leading process improvements and engineering discipline
