Senior Systems Engineer (Linux / Azure) Description
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for passionate Senior Systems Engineers with Linux/Azure knowledge for diverse projects of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous development and operation of the automated deployment framework. As a part of our team, you can work remotely from anywhere across the country or meet teammates in the office.
What You’ll Do
- Develop distributed and scalable platform, providing the following services:
- Management and execution of performance tests (load, peak, stress, etc.) & automated user behavior scenarios on various application platforms (iOS, Android, Web, Windows)
- Microservices-based back-end architecture
- Manage knowledge transfer and mentoring for other DevOps engineers and teams
- Drive changes and continuous improvements of development process
- Design and lead CI/CD process for business applications & automate processes
- Set up a version control system, support and track the branching strategy
What You Have
- Advanced knowledge of core Azure services, either IaaS and SaaS set: AZURE Function, Azure API Gateway, Load Balancer, Application Gateway/WAF, Event Grid, AQS
- Strong in Storage technologies: Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Storage, CosmosDB, Azure Datalake Storage
- Proficiency with Linux
- Familiarity with Chef, Ansible and/or Puppet or any other configuration management tool
- Extensive experience with Source Control management and its influence on the SDLC & DevOps Processes
- Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting
- Ability to communicate in an international team in English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of containerization services (AKS, ACI, AVM) is a big plus
- Experience in Agile best practices
