Responsibilities
- Participate in product feature implementation, both independently and in cooperation with your team
- Implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient, reusable and performant code
- Liaise with product stakeholders and other teams in the organisation to complete the projects on time and to the highest quality standards
- Participate in peer code reviews, manage criteria applied during code reviews
- Investigate technical issues during the full development lifecycle including specific component in production
- Provide effort estimations for the individual and team assignments
- Coach and mentor less experienced members of the team
- Work with solution architects to define highly detailed specifications for technical solutions
- Help shaping the team's culture and work rhythm, including the development of best practices within the team
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of and at least 6 years of experience in .NET development using C#
- Experience with at least one major area in .NET (e.g., ASP.NET, WPF)
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript development
- Experience developing scalable microservices architectures
- Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, clean code, programming principles, and design patterns
- Good understanding of the SDLC processes and tools (e.g., code reviews, distributed version control, testing)
- Good knowledge of NGRX and State Management
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and related tools (e.g., TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins)
- Experience working in an agile development environment (like Scrum or Kanban, with tools like JIRA or Trello)
- Experience with cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Good English communication skills (B2+ overall language level)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
Nice to have
- Experience developing and deploying serverless and non serverless applications to AWS (serverless functions, queuing technologies, cloud storage, databases, cache, scalable web applications)
- Exposure to distributed caching frameworks (e.g Redis, Memcached) and messaging frameworks (e.g. Kinesis, RabbitMQ)
- Experience creating responsive layouts
- Demonstrated experience with CSS Pre-processors such as SCSS, SASS, LESS
- Good knowledge of the latest ECMAScript standards and features
- Experience working with relational (SQL Server, Postgres etc) and NoSQL (Redis, Dynamo, etc) databases
- Experience writing automated unit and end-to-end tests
- Experience with TDD and/or BDD
- Experience with ELK Stack
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral - with experience in presenting to engineering and product groups
- Ability to lead systems analysis with application design individually and with an architecture team to deliver detailed application specifications
- A passionate software developer with a strong interest in new and emerging technologies and the ability to drive technical change
- The ability to approach complex problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation, and the drive to get stuck into solving them until the solution can be delivered to the customer
- Experience in lean methodologies and processes (Kanban) leading process improvements and engineering discipline
