LogicLibrary and EPAM Systems announce first SAP NetWeaver add-on for software reuse
New SAP NetWeaver addition for Logidex expands LogicLibrary's unmatched integration with popular
development environments, which include IBM WebSphere and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
Pittsburgh, PA - Dec. 15, 2003 - LogicLibrary™, the leading provider of software
asset management tools, today announced a partnership with EPAM Systems, a leading provider of e-business, enterprise
relationship management, software development outsourcing services and content management solutions. EPAM will develop
a Logidex Add-On for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio for both J2EE and .NET environments.
Under terms of the agreement, the companies will also resell and support each other's products and services. EPAM will
resell and support Logidex in Eastern Europe (Russia, Poland, Hungary, The Czech Republic and Slovakia). Meanwhile,
LogicLibrary will offer the SAP NetWeaver Add-On worldwide, outside of Eastern Europe.
"This strategic partnership with EPAM illustrates the value we place on making it easy for developers to work in the
environment of their choice," said Greg Coticchia, CEO of LogicLibrary. "We have already successfully integrated Logidex
with other leading IDEs, including Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, IBM WebSphere and Eclipse. By adding SAP NetWeaver
Developer Studio, developers using Logidex have unrivaled flexibility as they create important new business applications."
"The combination of LogicLibrary's industry-leading expertise in software development asset (SDA) management and our
expertise in SAP development will result in valuable opportunities for our joint customers," said Arkadiy Dobkin, CEO
of EPAM Systems. "We look forward to expanding on LogicLibrary's offerings and creating an SAP environment for J2EE
and .NET developers, business analysts and architects. Logidex's mapping and discovery capabilities, which allow
enterprises to identify the best software assets for specific business and technical requirements, is a must-have
for new application development and integration projects."
Logidex is a collaborative software development asset (SDA) management solution that simplifies the creation,
migration and integration of enterprise applications. It represents inherently complex, enterprise application
environments in a graphical, intuitive way. Logidex is the only SDA management solution that offers model-based
searching, out-of-the-box assets, measurements and metrics--within both the J2EE and Microsoft .NET development
environments.
